Company / Certifications

The SIFA products bear the following international marks: CE; IMQ; ETL c-us; ETL sanitation; GOST. While the CE is obligatory for the European market, and is a self-certification on the part of the manufacturer who declares that he is constructing the product in conformity with the standards, the others are voluntary and certified.

Having a certified mark not only means that the manufacturer constructs in conformity with the various standards, but that the production is verified and controlled by a competent institute which guarantees production through periodic inspection visits. All of the products are also tested prior to shipping and are accompanied by an appropriate Acceptance Testing Certificate.

The CE mark is obligatory in the member countries of the European Union. Through the CE mark, the manufacturer declares that the single product is conformant with the general standards regarding safety included in the directive on CE marking. In particular, all of the SIFA products are conformant with the directive on electromagnetic compatibility.

The IMQ mark is voluntary and is recognised by the member countries of the European Union. It is a safety mark that certifies the conformity of electrical products with the requirements of the CEI standards. The most important products are certified with this mark.

The ETL c-us mark is voluntary and is recognised in the United States and Canada. It is a safety mark that certifies the conformity of the products with the requirements of the UL (United States) and CSA (Canada) standards. The most important products are certified with this mark.

The ETL sanitation mark is voluntary and is recognised in the United States and Canada. It is a mark certifying compatibility with food products and certifies conformity of the products with the requirements of the NSF standard. The most important products are certified with this mark.

GOST certification is voluntary and is recognised in Russia. It is a mark that certifies conformity of the products with the requisites required by the safety standards (IEC standards with Russian deviations), the standards on electromagnetic compatibility and the standards on food products compatibility. The most important products are certified with this mark.
